Christina E. Daigneault, Esq.

Christina is an attorney-mediator and seasoned communications executive dedicated to helping families resolve conflict in an efficient and supportive manner.  She co-founded Orchard Mediation to provide high quality mediation services for couples facing separation and divorce, as well as parenting, prenuptial, and postnuptial matters.

Before Orchard Mediation, Christina was President and General Counsel of an award-winning public relations agency, and started her legal career as an attorney at Schindler, Cohen & Hochman LLP.  She has extensive dispute resolution training and experience in both commercial and family matters, and serves as a pro-bono mediator with New York Peace Institute in community and court settings.  

Christina is admitted to practice law in New York.  She is a member of the New York City Bar Association, where she served as Chairwoman of the State Affairs Committee, and regularly speaks in academic and professional settings about women in law and business.  She has been featured in The New York Law JournalThe New York Times, NY1 News, CBS Radio, and NBC News.  

Christina is a recipient of the 2017 Ariane de Rothschild Fellowship in cross-cultural dialogue, and Marymount Manhattan College's Alumni Award.  She lives in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with her husband and daughter.

JoAn Pangilinan-Taylor, J.D.

JoAn is the Associate Director for Programs at the New York Peace Institute (NYPI) where she is in charge of the development and supervision of mediation programs in Civil Court, Housing Court, Surrogate’s Court, Family Court, as well as the Co-Parenting Mediation and Lemon Law Arbitration programs.  As a NYPI certified mediator, she has mediated over 150 civil, community, and family mediation cases. JoAn received her Juris Doctor degree from Northern Illinois University in 2004 and is a member of the Illinois State Bar since 2005. 

JoAn believes that the mediation process plays a powerful role in resolving conflict and building peace.  Her interest in the field of family and divorce mediation stems from her belief that community peace-making begins within the family.  JoAn co-founded Orchard Mediation to help families navigate the complex issues of separation and divorce, as they move forward in this time of transition in their lives.

Prior to her work in mediation, JoAn was involved in various disciplines all of which influence her work in mediation.  JoAn was a member of Hedwig Dances, the critically acclaimed and award winning dance company in Chicago.  She has also choreographed and performed her works in International Dance and Theater Festivals in the United States and Asia.  For the past eighteen years, JoAn has practiced and taught Ashtanga Yoga as a vehicle to promote health and peace in her community.

JoAn lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband and two children.
